RegPest has trained experts, agronomists, passed their training in Chemicals Regulation Directorate (CRD), United Kingdom – one of the countries that has founded the contemporary European requirements for registration of plant protection products (PPPs) on the territory of the European Union. Our experts’ ground experience has been acquired while they worked for the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency (BFSA), department “Plants Protection Products and Fertilizers“. They have ground knowledge on the actual requirements of the Bulgarian and European legislation on the authorization and renewal of authorization of PPPs, biocides and Registration of fertilizers, soil ameliorators, biologically active substances and nutrient substrates. They have been members of the Council for Plant Protection Products, that is the permanent consultancy body on questions connected to the PPPs at the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency.
The competent body, responsible for the authorization of PPPs and registration of fertilizers, soil ameliorators, biologically active substances and nutrient substrates is BFSA at the Ministry of Agriculture and Foodstuffs (MAF).
According to the Plant Protection Act, Art. 45, p. 3 every company, seeking to obtain authorization for PPPs, is obliged to be either settled on the territory of Bulgaria, or have a local authorized representative for this activity.
